ESNAM: The members - physicians, nanoscience researchers, institutions

The members consist, on one side, of clinicians from various fields who see nanomedicine as a promising avenue to the medicine of tomorrow and are willing to apply it in clinical practice and in clinical trials, whenever suitable new nanomedical approaches are developed. On the other side, the members consist of researchers in nanomedicines who are interested in focusing their research on clinically relevant questions and are committed to bringing the results of their research to clinical application. In addition, there is a place for institutional membership to those institutions who are stakeholders in the field. This interdisciplinary interaction of scientists, medical doctors, biologists, chemists, pharmacologists and physicists and many others may on occasions have its difficulties in finding commonalities, but has already proven to be most stimulating for fruitful collaboration to achieve the same goal.
